INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sierra Wierless 850 Aircard

Please read these instructions carefully and DO NOT install the software supplied with this card (these only usually work for the network to which they are branded). For microsoft windows XP or Vista:

1. Download this software and install it.
2. Insert sim into data card (if you are using a pay as you go sim make sure you have credit on it)
3. Then insert the data card into your laptop.
4. If "3G watcher" does not open automatically, click on the icon.
5. Goto the menu Tools, connections, add new profile (icon on the bottom left), wwan profile.
6. Input your network settings. For instance the UK network 3 has APN- three.co.uk
7. Or T-mobile has APN- general.t-mobile.uk, Username - User, Password - Pass

9. Once happy with the settings press Apply and then OK.
10. Finally select the profile you have just created from the drop down menu and press Connect.

You should have internet access now - usually you are greeted by the networks home page, advising you how much it costs to browse.

Troubleshooting:

• Sometimes other mobile connect managers installed on the computer can interfere with this software so it is best to uninstall previous installations (In Microsoft XP,Control panel, add/remove programmes).
• If you get a network signal but are unable to connect recheck and check again your networks settings (APN, password etc).
• Have you got good network recpetion?
• Make sure your sim is enabled for data calls (check with your network provider).
• Data card not being recognized - unplug and plug back in, if not switch whole computer off and reboot.
• Still having problems try a google search for this type of card, your computer OS and perhaps your network.  If still no luck contact me with the above info and we will try and sort it out.
